In a recent interview on Fox News, “Dr. Anthony Fauci has argued that he is an easy target during the coronavirus pandemic because he stands for ‘science, data and hard facts’ rather than ‘conspiracy theories.”1 In that same interview he had this to say, ‘Take the police,’ Fauci explained. ‘We know now the statistics: More police officers die of COVID than they do in other causes of death.” I know some will think I’m pickin nits, but really Tony? The whole basis of medicine and science is founded in data. Reliable data, that has been vetted, reproduced and peer reviewed.
So, I looked for the source of the later statement. And, I found it on the Fraternal Order of Police website.2 In the post stating that more police officers have died of COVID-19 than of other causes, they refer readers to report their information about police officers deaths and illnesses to Mark McDonald. Mark McDonald is the Legislative Liaison for the FOP, and is not a physician, researcher or statistician, AFAIK. The article also makes the following disclaimer.
“Please Note: The following list has been compiled using media and news reports of law enforcement officers who have died due to COVID-19. The numbers listed include all reported COVID-19 deaths—not all have been verified.“
Well, we all know that today’s media and news never gets anything wrong.
Anthony Fauci is a lying quack. I don’t understand why he is still present in any authoritative capacity. I’ll have more on this in posts to come.
