Which is a reported case fatality rate of 1.2% compared to the national average that has held steady at about 6% and prior reports from Texas that have been as high as 6%. And, the old Gov’r of Texas was considering closing down the state, restricting immigration (even of US citizens from other states), forcing quarantine,social distancing and the wearing of masks.

Governor Abbot has issues several Executive Orders regarding opening of the state in the face of increased COVID-19 cases (read this with painic in your thoughts. Yes, I know how to spell panic, but we feel the pain).

The President of Princeton University has announced that the University will remove Woodrow Wilson’s name from the public policy school.

Unreported are the plans to exhume his body and impeach him for high crimes and sentence him to death for treason. OK, so it’s not reported because I made it up to show the ludicrousness of these actions. Stupid is as stupid does.

Woodrow Wilson was the 28th president of the USA from 1913 to 1921. He was the president of Princeton University. And, he was a Democrat. He is also considered, by some, to be the birth of race relations in the USA as we know them today.

He has been criticized for being a racist because, according to the Foxnews.com post, he capitulated to pressure to segregate government departments reversing a period of integration.1 No doubt that Wilson was a racist by today’s standards.

Now Christopher Eisgruber (President of Princeton University) is capitulating to pressure to remove all references to Wilson from the University and it’s programs. Princeton has been resisting the attempts to remove Wilson’s references for years. Princeton has also recognized that the removal of Wilson from the public policy school was a mute point because it was to happen in the near future anyway due to remodeling and rebuilding.

Until now, Princeton has been regarded as a prestigious school of higher education of Ivy League learning. It now has shown itself to be a pretentious school of ivy league stupidity and racism.

There is no doubt that racism has and is occurring world wide. Burying our head in the sand will not change that fact. Erasing history will only determine that we will repeat it. It always has and always will.

An institution of higher learning is charged with the task of educating. No less, no more. Now, Princeton has shown that it has no intention of educating anyone. It’s only intent is to blow where the wind dictates at the whims of the wind. L’Oreal wants to remove white from it’s products, football wants to kneel in protest or some company wants to screen it’s content for racial correctness; that’s all fine with me. But for a supposed institution of learning to try to change history instead of teach it, is stupid, destructive and counterproductive beyond belief.

A colleague of mine had a heroine overdose come to the ED. When she gave him a dose of Narcan, he aroused and said, “Why is my dick so cold?” When she examined him she noticed that there was a large bulge in the crotch of his pants. On further investigation, she found a pork roast. It seems that the party goers had difficulty arousing the patient and put a frozen pork roast down his pants to try to arouse him. It didn’t work and they didn’t think to take it out when they called the paramedics.

The single dose of Narcan wasn’t sufficient to maintain the patient’s state of arousal and he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit on a Narcan drip. His clothes and things were packed up to go with him and laid on the stretcher between his legs.

When it was time to transport the patient to the ICU, the transport nurse walked in and said,

“What’s with the meat?”

Between his legs were his clothes and a pork roast.
