Winston Churchill, paraphrasing a Spanish philosopher George Santayana, wrote, “Those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.”

Believe me folks, after the childhood years, there is no accountability.

April 24, 1988 , then President Jimmy Carter responded to the Iranian hostage crisis with despondency. The US Embassy, Tehran, incident was caused by the Islamic uprising in 1979. Militant Islamic fanatics deposed the Shaw of Iran, seized the government and took control of the country. They captured the US Embassy and took it’s personnel captive to hold as hostages in an attempt to force militant Islamic demands on the US. Democrat President Jimmy Carter, whose previous political and military experience included farming peanuts in Georgia, handled the situation. He surrounded himself with expert political and military advisors who lead him to botch negotiations and a demonstrably flawed rescue attempt. Using helicopters to shuttle Delta force soldiers long distance across a desert that presented them with a grounding sandstorm that caused a helicopter to collide with a transport plane, killing one Iranian civilian and 8 US mission personnel. The mission failed before it engaged. Cyrus Vance, Secretary of State, resigned but no one was actually held accountable other than with a smeared reputation.¹

In 2012, President Barack Obama, Secretary of State Hilary Clinton and staff watched on live video feed as militant Islamists, members of the Islamic militant group Ansar al-Sharia, sacked 2 of our US government facilities in Benghazi, Libya, resulting in the death of Ambassador Stevens, a US Foreign Service Officer and 2 CIA contractors. This distinguished audience did nothing to help even though there were assets in the region and the Ambassador and others had requested increased security for weeks before the attack. Nobody has taken responsibility for this, either figuratively on criminally.²

Now, in August of 2021, President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Anthony Blinkin, about 8 months after taking charge as President of the US, Biden, surrounded with chosen advisors, proceeded to implement the biggest military blunder in memorable history. Biden abandoned a secure and strategic AFB in Kabul, gave up billions of dollars of strategic weapons and material, exfiltrated over 100,000 foreign, unvetted, Afghan citizens while leaving behind uncounted US citizens and vetted foreign allies. Biden, in doing this, also caused the release of thousands of vicious militant Islamic prisoners that had been imprisoned for war crimes, smeared egg all over our face for all the world to laugh at and caused the death of 13 of our military personnel on a peace mission to evacuate threatened civillians. And yet, before the dust from the C-17 transports has settled, Mich McConnell, the United States Senate Republican Leader, predicts there will be no formal responsibility-taking, impeachment or criminal trial.

Oh yes, did I mention that these were all liberals?

Driving through Fort Worth, Texas on I-35w, there is considerable road construction. Scattered through this construction there a bunch of those text-messaging-devices that are immune from the Texas Department of Public Safety laws prohibiting texting while driving and especially texting or even using your phone in a construction zone. They say something like,

No Texting while driving

or

This is a no phone zone

and inform you that in the construction zone fines are particularly heavy.

One particularly not-so-helpful sign said,

Various lane closures at 9 pm

so that the reader would know that at 9pm that some portion of I-35w was going to become the vehicular version of Whac-A-Mole.

Out of the mouth of my least favorite medical expert, Dr Anthony Fauci told an interviewer from the National Geographic in May of 2020, “If you look at the evolution of the virus in bats and what’s out there now, [the scientific evidence] is very, very strongly leaning toward this could not have been artificially or deliberately manipulated…” He went on to say, “Everything about the stepwise evolution over time strongly indicates that [this virus] evolved in nature and then jumped species…”. He told the magazine at the time that based on the scientific evidence, he does not entertain the lab leak theory.”1

But at the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases meeting this week, he said (a couple of days after Coronalie-34) that he is “not convinced” COVID-19 developed naturally, and called for an open investigation into the virus’ origins.

And now it seems, Dr. Fauci is not only exposed to be a lying politico, he may be complicit in the cause of the whole Corona-lie debacle. 2

Vindication is so sweet.

Gov. Newsom tells Dr. Fauci ‘we may have over promised’ on vaccine availability.”

“California received 1.8 million vaccine doses but only 300,000 have been administered.” (as of 1/2/21)

“At this stage, I really think it’s wise for us to be a little more humble about where we are in relationship to this unprecedented effort to vaccinate hundreds of millions of Americans in a very short period of time.”

And there are so many cases of abuse and misappropriations of the vaccine.(1)

This so instills confidence in our elected officials.

500 doses were sent to this pharmacy. 57 patients received spoiled vaccines. The motive is uncertain, but the offender reported that he/she removed them to get to other products in the cooler. The vaccines were estimated to be valued at $16-22 for each dose.

Gov. Tim Walz (Democrat Governor of Minnesota) has issued lock-down orders for restaurants, gyms, bars and other businesses that, apparently, offend the owners. The leader of the movement has been threatened with monetary fines and jail time for disobeying the orders.(1)

And yet, as little as 4 months ago Minnesota was a war zone over Black Lives Matter issues that led to violence, property destruction, civil disobedience, threats to de-fund law enforcement.(2) The rest of the world sat back and watched rioters deface

property, assault police and civilians with little to no repercussions from our/their government.(3) And the rioters performed, gasp, wait for it;

blatant disobedience to masking, social distancing and other orders to combat coronavirus.

Worse than the current movement by these 150 Minnesota businesses. Were the rioters 4 months ago punished for their disobedience? No!

If anything deserves support for civil disobedience, protecting one’s livelihood does!
